The OptoLyzer Professional is a powerful analysis and development tool for exploring MOST25 networks with optical physical layer (oPHY). Its software runs on PC hardware including laptops and notebooks and operates in two basic modes:
- In ‘Spy Mode’
- In ‘Node Mode’

The OSS Flasher is a software tool to update flash based ICs. It runs on a Pentium Class PC and works with SMSC's hardware platforms for flashing. The OSS Flasher runs on a Pentium Class PC with minimum 32 MB RAM and 4 MB free hard disk space and one of the operating systems Windows 2000 / XP. One free serial port or one free PCI slot is mandatory.

OptoLyzer Suite is the graphical user interface for the OptoLyzer G2 used for testing and analyzing a MOST network. OptoLyzer Suite can operate offline using a dongle; or online, connected via an OptoLyzer OL3xxx to a real MOST Network.

MOST Radar is a tool for analyzing MOST networks, such as checking MOST network configuration, verifying node properties, or inspecting allocation status. This network analysis tool is able to support mixed NIC and INIC MOST networks. Access to the MOST network is accomplished via OptoLyzer G2, OptoLyzer Professional, OptoLyzer Standard Plus, MOST PCI Tool Kit.
